I designed these two expeditions for women looking to travel with a purpose. For those wanting to push themselves physically and mentally, to have an adventure of a lifetime and travel with purpose. Each day brings a different experience, new landscapes, new opportunities for connection and inspiration at every turn…

The Purpose

We are committed to ensuring tourism benefits local people. In fact we want your trip to benefit the people you meet as much as it benefits you. To inspire and to be inspired.

Who we link with?

We have chosen local partners based in the destination country. They are each committed to the ideals of sustainable travel, employ local staff, directly feed back into the local economy and support the ecosystems in which you are travelling. The beauty of tourism is that it really can have a direct impact on the host destination- if done in the right way.

Our Role

We have a responsibility to ensure your expedition benefits local people. We do this through carefully chosen suppliers, in depth education travel packs, offsetting your in country emissions and always tweaking what we do to ensure we are doing all we can to make your trip outstanding and equally beneficial for the host country.

Your Role

Your role is to choose who to travel with. Great start to pick Orbis! Then to find out as much as you can about where you are visiting and who you will be meeting. We want you to get as much from this experience as possible, to be present, to engage, collaborate and be open to push your boundaries. This when the magic happens.

I loved the workshop, to meet these awesome women who will reshape Malawi with their courage, confidence and ideas was totally inspiring. Every day I thought "it can't get better than this" and every day it just did that. The most inspiring holiday I have ever had; giving back whilst experiencing the country, the people and the culture and building friendships along the way. All done in the most authentic way. Thank you so much for the most amazing experience!
