The Purpose

Business Skill Sharing: This expedition is about partnership. Sharing knowledge and inspiring one another. During two days of business workshops you will meet with some incredibly resilient Malawian entrepreneurs, passionate about business, determined to learn new skills and wanting to be part of a space that offers learning, shared knowledge and empowerment. Your core business/life skills are so valuable and their stories so inspiring.

Secondary School Experience: Spend the day at Orbis’s partner school on the shores of Lake Malawi on a business project day. Work with the students on a design day experience- sharing core skills of business; idea development, marketing, public speaking, creativity and team work. End the day with some drama, music and perhaps a spot of netball!

How we bring it together: Pre Departure the team will meet in a number of online calls to plan their workshops with the businesswomen and at the school. We collaborate closely with our Malawian partner company to ensure the work we deliver in Malawi is useful, sustainable and delivered appropriately.
