Learning Outcomes

Our expeditions are about learning outside the classroom. Travel offers incredible opportunities for young people to explore their boundaries, learn about global issues and step outside their home community bubble. Our expeditions aim to broaden horizons, both students and teachers, provide opportunity for young people to take on new responsibilities and for experiential learning to take place. We want to offer teachers and students support in the journey whilst still keeping ownership of your expedition within your school. Assigning students tasks for fundraising, lesson plans to use across your currcilum and direct links with schools and organisations within Malawi.

  • Global Citizenship/UN Global Goals

  • Cultural Learning/Interaction

  • Mental Health/Well Being/Independence

  • Knowledge and Skills Sharing

Summary: This expedition offers opportunities for students to see the Global Goals in action. Visiting multiple different settings, organisations and initiatives. They will meet inspiring Malawian students and entrepreneurs trying to help their communities develop and engage with the Global Goals.

Join the conversation

We are chatting on social media using #bepartofsomething we would love to hear from you. Have you been looking at the UN Global Goals at school? Would you like to chat to students in Malawi and how they are working towards the 2030 Goals? Or perhaps you might like to intern with us when you leave school?

I’m absolutely certain that each one of the group will talk about their experiences for many years to come. We have nothing but praise for the way RSC operates and the people you work with.
